A founding member of critically acclaimed late 90's rock band Baby Ray, guitarist-singer Ken Lafler has performed in Boston and beyond for over 30 years, appearing on three albums by Baby Ray, and seven albums and three EPs by surf/spy/roots instrumental band The Weisstronauts. He's the lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter for throwback country band (and Aeronaut regulars) Hillbilly Holiday. He also plays guitar with The Weisstronauts, rockabilly band Real Gone, and power pop band Gompson, and keyboards with indie rock band Francine, bass guitar with NYC-based Jack Grace Band, and contributes to other music projects. His solo show combines elements of these varied styles along with a dose of fingerstyle acoustic ragtime and blues, and an eclectic mix of his own and cover songs from all over the musical map.
