Sign up for a Critter Camp Session to learn all about the importance of true sanctuaries and the dangers of the exotic wildlife trade. Critter Camp offers youth the opportunity to enjoy our 18-acre sanctuary, connect with nature, make new friends, and have fun, all while gaining a deeper understanding of conservation and the exotic animals we care for!
What are the time commitments? -- Each session begins with drop-off at 9:00 am and pick-up at 3:00 pm. There will be time between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm for campers to shop in the Wolf Den Gift Shop if desired.
What will my camper be doing while at camp? -- Campers will learn all about the 70+ exotic animals that we care for at Black Pine, and what it takes to care for them! Campers will enjoys tours, engaging lessons, games, activities, and complete a small service project with a certificate upon completion!
What will my camper need for camp? -- All campers will need to bring a cold lunch! Campers will spend a majority of the day outdoors, so please take a look at the weather prior to your campers session to see if they may need an extra layer, sunscreen, a hat, rain jacket etc.
