Come enjoy a night of unforgettable music at Henning Memorial United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 6:00 PM, as we welcome Philadelphia-based organist and technician Luke Staisiunas for a special concert. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or simply someone who enjoys great music, this evening promises to be a memorable one. Luke is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he studied under Dr. Adam Pajan, Dr. Damin Spritzer, and Dr. John Schwandt, with a background in both organ performance and pipe organ technology. He currently serves as Organist-Choirmaster at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Roxborough, Assistant Organist to Peter Richard Conte on the Wanamaker Organ in Philadelphia, and a summer recitalist on the organ at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City—respectively the first and second largest pipe organs in the world. He is also an experienced restoration technician and a dedicated advocate for the preservation and celebration of the pipe organ’s rich heritage, serving on the boards of multiple national theatre organ societies. The evening will open with the dramatic and instantly recognizable Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by J.S. Bach. Admission is free and open to the public, with all donations supporting the church’s music ministry.
The concert will also be live-streamed on the church’s Facebook and YouTube pages, so you can enjoy the performance from wherever you are.
