🎉 Pat & Annie Picnic 2025: Focus on Fellowship 🎉
📅 Saturday, July 26, 2025
📍 Emerald Park Shelter #2
Join us for the annual Pat & Annie Picnic, where we support those who are blind and sight impaired. We're inviting all District R Trustees and Lions Clubs to gather for a summer celebration rooted in service, connection, and purpose.
🌭 Honoring Helen Keller, Celebrating Service
This year marks the 100th anniversary of Helen Keller’s historic charge for Lions to be “Knights of the Blind.” As part of this celebration, OLSHF will host a Keep the Promise (KTP) Campaign starting June 27—Helen Keller’s 145th birthday—through July 26, the date of our picnic.
Did you know? Hot dogs were Helen Keller’s favorite food—making them a perfect fit for this heartfelt summer tradition!
🎯 Eugene Downtown Lions KTP Campaign Goal: $1,450
We’re aiming to raise $1,450 during the KTP campaign. Any funds raised beyond that goal will go to the newly chartered Southern Willamette Chapter of the American Council of the Blind, Oregon (SWCACBO).

Online giving starts: 4:50 PM on June 26
