It is happening in August this year! The Shakopee Tour, where the Shakopee Heritage Society will give a tour of downtown Shakopee, talking about the blind woman who was a member of the Shakopee Book Lover's Club, the girl who was born in Shakopee and died in the Holocaust, the Paul Revere of Shakopee, the fireman who died in a fire downtown, the African American family who lived in Shakopee after the boat couldn't get over the rapids, the first Chinese American in Shakopee, and more.

Meet at the front of the Shakopee Library on August 16, 2025 from 10 to Noon. Bring a lawn chair as we go from place to place.

After the tour, take time to visit some of the stores and food in Downtown Shakopee!

Questions: Call David Schleper from the Shakopee Heritage Society at 952 693 3865. The tour is free!
