Embrace your inner elf!
Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
Elf is a musical, but most roles do not sing alone. If your child does not wish to sing a solo, please indicate on the registration notes section. The script will be used as a teaching tool to introduce kids to theatrical concepts and vocabulary, teamwork and self-reliance. Kids will rehearse a 20-minute version of the popular musical, 2-3 songs plus a few lines of dialogue to connect them. Students will be working with a professional director, choreographer and vocal coach. Students should dress to move and bring their own water bottle and snack for each class. A final performance for parents and invited guests will take place at the end of the final camp day.
This camp is at MAC 380 Rivertown Drive, Suite 200 in Woodbury
