Join NTX Overland for a fall trip to Merus Adventure in the amazing Palo Duro Canyon! 5,000+ acres of beautiful scenery with amazing offroad trails, hiking, and even caves to explore!
Itinerary:
Friday:
-Arrive at park, set up camp
Saturday:
- Stage near the entrance at 9am and ride the canyon rim to take a group photo at the famous Mets Bluff.
-From the Bluff we split into beginner/intermediate groups and head into the canyon to wheel for the day. Meeting back and camp for tall tales and a pot luck dinner.
Sunday:
- Pack up and head home
- OPTIONAL drive to Caprock Canyons or Copper Breaks state park for the night then head home Monday morning
IMPORTANT TRIP NOTES:
We will cover the cost of the group camp, you only need to purchase your park entry pass for the 10th and 11th, AND a 4x4 pass for the 11th

TRIP REQUIREMENTS:
You must have a capable vehicle to make the trek in(and out) of the canyon
You must have GMRS radio
You must have a fire extinguisher in your rig
You must have a good time!
