Make a Messenger Bag

Students will learn to sew a messenger bag from scratch. Students will be provided with a pattern, learn to cut out the pieces from fabric, and sew the bag together during this all day long class (Class will have a 1 hour break for lunch). Some sewing experience is helpful but not a requirement. Students may bring their own fabric of use fabric available from the MAC. The bag requires 1 yard of a medium weight fabric for the outside and 1 yard of a light weight fabric for the lining. Fabric should be woven, not stretchy. Students may bring their own sewing machine and supplies or use supplies from the MAC.
