Kūhai Hālau O Kaponookalani Pā ‘Ōlapa Kahiko is proud to present our 2025 hō’ike on Saturday, July 12, under the direction of Kumu Bernadette Kaponookalani Nakamura.
With the theme “He Ali’i Ka ‘Āina, He Kaūa Ke Kanaka” (The Land is Chief, the People are Servant), our program features mo’olelo from The Big Island of Hawai’i, shared through dance, ‘oli, and mele.
Along with hula and live music from Ho’okipa, guests will enjoy raffle prizes, food trucks, and a local vendor marketplace.
