The Brothers of The Society of Saint Francis at Alnmouth Friary have kindly agreed to open their charming gardens again for you to enjoy homemade teas and live music.
The Friary is a beautiful house set on a hill overlooking the sea. It was built in the early 20th Century as a private dwelling and the Brothers have occupied the house since 1961, ministering to visitors, guests and widely around the North East. The house is situated in its own beautiful gardens which contain several terraces featuring roses, fuchsias and many herbaceous borders. The stunning views out to Alnmouth Bay and Coquet Island are breath-taking.
