Wikin te Taetae ni Kiribati - Kiribati Language Week
Celebrate: 6 - 12 July 2025
The 2025 theme for Kiribati Language Week is 'Maiuakinan te katei ri nanon te tangira ma te ikarinerine bon wantongan te mwenga ibukin te rikirake - Living our valued cultural practices through love and respect upholds our dignity and growth for a successful future'.
You are invited to join the formal flag raising ceremony, at the Peace Memorial in Te Rauparaha Park.
This event is weather dependent and will be moved to the performing arts space at Pātaka if raining. The flag raising ceremony will also be morning tea and refreshments at Pātaka after the ceremony.
