John Farr's 13th Annual Ride

You are welcome to arrive Friday night: Ride will start about 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The trail is about 10 to 12 miles. The actual trail is still to be determined. We will be riding on Vermont state land and we have been informed by the VT. State Parks and Recreation that organized group rides will be charged a $3 fee per person per day so please be prepared to pay this fee when you sign up for our ride.
We will have a potluck to share food for Saturday’s dinner.
We have water and a port a potty on site. The field will be ready Friday night for any riders who want to camp that night. If riders want, they can ride their horses around the field or on some of the nice trails along the river for a short ride.
Directions: From I 89, get off Exit 10 in Waterbury; take Rte 2 West/North; go about 2 miles towards Bolton - there will be a large field on the left side of the hwy - a nice flat field for parking. You will see the Cider House Restaurant on your left; Farr's Field is next to the restaurant so look for the DRHC sign by the road, which will mark the turn into the field.
