Southern Dutchess Concert Band at Recreation Park, Beekman

The Town of Beekman's summer concert series will include a concert by Southern Dutchess Concert Band this evening at 6 p.m. at their Recreation Park. Admission is free, so pack your lawn chairs and join us for this special evening. Bring your appetites too, since The Cluck Truck and Twisted Sisters Ice Cream food trucks will also be there! The performance will be under the picnic pavilion if it rains.

The 75-piece Southern Dutchess Concert Band will be performing a selection of show tunes, popular standards, marches, light classical and wind ensemble music. Highlights will include "Dance at the Gym: Mambo" from "West Side Story", "Mary Shelley Meets Frankenstein", and "America the Beautiful". The Southern Dutchess Concert Band consists of woodwind, brass and percussion musicians from southern Dutchess County and surrounding areas.
