Holyrood BookFest is back and you are invited!
If you are starting school in September, then this is the event for you.
On Thursday 17 July at 2.15pm, Holyrood Academy are opening their fields (sports hall if wet!) to all children starting school in September in Chard and the surrounding areas.
We will be joined by the brilliant Holyrood Literacy Ambassadors who will be available to read to your children on picnic blankets around the field.
Every child starting school in September will receive a free book, thank you to Chard Town Council for sponsoring this.
Please do bring your children along, and if you canβt make it we welcome Grandparents, Aunties and friends too! Younger sibling are also welcome to join us.
We would love to see you there to spend an afternoon celebrating reading. Spread the word with other parents and carers, it would be great to have you all there.
