The Sark 2 Jersey rowing race began in 1967 and covers roughly 16 nautical miles, starting from Dixcart Bay in Sark, passing the Paternosters reef, following Jersey’s north coast, and ending at Bonne Nuit Bay, Jersey.
Crews face challenging conditions like cross tides and choppy waters. The event attracts top rowers from the Channel Islands and further afield, offering a unique experience where both seasoned rowers and those new to the sport can compete.
The day ends with awards ceremony followed by food and music at the picturesque Bonne Nuit Bay.
