Marianne Mandrusiak (Opening Act)
As a comedian Marianne Mandrusiak made her Just For Laughs Festival debut in 2023, introducing her quirky observational stand-up to a larger audience that is now growing exponentially. As an author she was longlisted for the CBC Nonfiction Prize in 2024 and published her first book, A Habitat for the Little Bat. She performs regularly at The Comedy Nest in Montreal and this is her first appearance in Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs!
Alasdair Tremblay-Birchall (Host)
Born and raised in Montreal, Alasdair Tremblay-Birchall has spent the past 20 years in Australlia honing his comedic skills and writing for hilarious television shows like We Interrupt This Broadcast, ABC's Dirty Laundry Live and more recently The Roast of John Cleese. Now back in Montreal he performs stand-up in both English and French and recently launched a new podcast called Les Tetes Brulees.
