Come and join us on this Summer Solstice, as we celebrate the gift of Life, Light and Love! Litha is when a battle between light and dark takes place. In this battle, the Oak King and the Holly King battle for control. During each solstice, they battle for power, and the balance shifts.
This year's ritual will be lead by our president Joe. Service will begin promptly at 2:00 pm. There is no cost to attend.
We will also be having our traditional post-service potluck meal. All are asked to bring a dish to share, and are welcome to stay after service has ended and join in the festivities. There will be a sign-up sheet at the church in the weeks leading up to the event. The theme for the potluck is summer picnic/barbecue faire.
There is no charge for this event, and all are welcome. We hope to have service outside (weather permitting) but if we cannot, indoor seating is limited.
