Let’s dance is a day of workshops and an evening of dance to raise funds for 4Trauma4patients a charity that supports severely injured patients at the Queen Elizabeth hospital, Birmingham.
Introducing our amazing star performers Maia and Hugo, performing in Birmingham for the first time.
Maia is a professional bellydancer trained internationally in traditional and modern oriental dance styles. For almost 15 years she has performed at many high profile events, several theatrical shows, in music videos and multiple venues and stages across UK and Europe.
Very passionate about teaching she tailors her classes to bring something new and different to her teaching every time.
Along with Oriental dance, Maia has studied Contemporary, Samba, Tango and Latin. Her passion for many dance styles means Maia often dances and performs a fusion of these different styles.
Hugo is a highly sought after teacher and choreographer from Argentina, he started his career at age of 12 and masters in various styles, such as hip hop, salsa, bachata, Brazilian funk and Reggaeton.
Hugo has won several South American championships in hip hop and multiple awards as both a soloist and a group dancer.
After years of performing and teaching workshops of Latin and urban styles in Latin America such as Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, Hugo recently settled down in UK, together with Maia they share a passion to dance.
They integrate and apply different skills to Latin dances, create fusion dance to offer something different on stage. They both empower the diversity and essence of both Latin and Arabic dance. Prepare to be amazed by this dynamic duo.
