Sunset Session with Emily Howard

Emily studied popular music at South Devon Collage and completed a BA Honours in Music Performance at Falmouth Universtity. She currently plays in Exeter Folk Band The Dillyboys and performs solo shows. Emily plays session guitar and vocals, a highlight for her was sessioning for a short tour with the Phil Beer Band. She hosts open mic jam sessions in Exeter and in 2023 ran an open mic for Rebel Girls at Boomtown Festival. Emily has released her third album through her self-releasing record label Random Fish Records and has been played on BBC Radio Introducing. When Emily is not gigging she works as a music educator, teaching guitar and vocals from her home studio and running music workshops at youth clubs, events and festivals with the Mobile Music Hub.
