Morning’s Thief with Borogoves and Greenhouse

Born and raised in Suburban Oxfordshire before relocating to the Staffordshire Moorlands, Morning's Thief have written songs based ostensibly around subjects such as town planners, the castration of domestic animals, the golden age of railway, neighbourhood watch schemes, and in their latest release - the seemingly accidental murder of an insect by way of vacuum cleaner. In marrying these themes with sometimes bittersweet, often menacing, always off-kilter songwriting they have tried to give voice to the disquiet which slowly gnaws at the collective unconscious. Their particular styling of ghostly vocals bestriding musical complexity is an intriguing collision of melodic songsmithery, post-prog exploratory rock and a pinch of psych-folk.
