Kayak Course 6 hour Recreational Kayaking for beginners

The recreational kayak clinic is designed for Recreational kayaks and paddlers with no prior knowledge or experience to come and learn in a low-stress program with no certification benchmarks or expectations.

This clinic is designed to teach new paddlers about their recreational/river kayaks as well as:

-Clothing choices while on the water

-Gear requirements in Canada and wise gear choices.

-Parts of the kayak

-Controlling your kayak on the water

-What to do when you capsize your kayak

-Weather considerations

-Intro to tide

The course is 6 hours and held at Dominion park in Greenhead on Saint John's west side.

Start time is 9AM.
