An Evening with The Nickel Slots at The Side Door

The Nickel Slots take you on a journey through hard times and desperation that always carries hope that better things are just around the corner. With influences from early roots Americana, Rock and Roll, as well as a touch of rebellious ’70s punk, The Nickel Slots, consist of drummer Christopher Amaral, vocalist and guitarist Tony Brusca, guitarist and singer Steve Amaral, and newest members, bassist and singer Troy Hook, and guitarist and singer Greg Baxter. The band was formed in 2008 and their energetic sound, which at its best crosses Johnny Cash and Tom Petty with a punk veneer, has garnered them an enthusiastic and loyal fan base.
