Appreciate and encourage fellow players.
Gain confidence in your playing/singing.
"Showboating" has its place but--it's not here.
To join us, you should:
Have a guitar and capo.
Be open to most kinds of music (but no classical or rap)
Bring copies of lyrics/chords for songs you want to play for everyone signed up or suggest songs you would like to lead using "Ultimate Guitar" music that will be projected on a large flat screen that is in the room (provided by Folkmoot).
Be able to play at least basic chords, e.g. A, Am, B, Bm, C, D, Dm, E, Em F, G, …
We use Ultimate Guitar and On Song to project your sheet music selection for all to follow.
Singing is encouraged but not required.
A great way to advance your guitar playing and experience.
