The CPA Alumni Association is made up of graduates from the Citizens Police Academy who wish to continue their participation in LCPD activities and programs.
The Alumni Association hopes to foster improved relations between the Police Department and the Public.
This is done through a variety of methods, including assisting LCPD with outreach events, participating in community projects and functions, and raising funds to help LCPD provide better service to the community with the purchase of supplemental equipment or advanced training.
Assist with the planning of events such as the Bowl-a-Thon and supporting other department programs such as the Police Explorers.
Alumni members also get to go on Ride-Alongs with LCPD Officers to help gain a better understanding of department operations.
