Summer Reading Program- Author Visit "Aldo Leopold's Shack"

In the new edition of her children’s book, Aldo Leopold’s Shack: Nina’s Story, Wisconsin author, Nancy Nye Hunt, tells the remarkable story of a family’s efforts to restore their worn-out farm, the Shack, along the Wisconsin River in the 1930s and 1940s.

Told through the eyes of the oldest daughter, Nina, new generations learn about her family’s shared experiences and adventures there, working together to learn about and care for the land.
