GENERAL RULES:
1. Rider age as of January 1, 2025. Horse age as of December 31, 2025.
2. All riders 19 and under must wear an ASTM/SEI helmet when riding in Gymkhana and English classes. Helmets are optional in all other classes.
3. Per Michigan law horses must have current year’s copy of negative Coggins test.
4. Walk Trot participants may only show in the designated WT classes & Halter classes. 13+ WT participants must show in age appropriate Showmanship class.
5. Walk Trot Gymkhana: if horse break into a lope for 3 consecutive strides they are disqualified from the event.
6. Pee Wee or Lead line classes are available for youth 7 and under. Leadline participants can participate in Pee Wee Showmanship but may not participate in the Pee Wee Walk or Walk Trot classes.
7. All stallions must be shown by an adult 18 year or older.
8. The show committee reserves the right to combine or spilt any classes.
9. The show committee reserves the right to require exhibitors or horse’s proof of age if there is a dispute.
