Summer STEAM: Moon Craters (Mockingbird Branch)

School-aged kids are encouraged to be a part of the library’s Summer STEAM series where we get hands-on with regular activities designed to strengthen those critical thinking and reasoning skills by engaging in fun and educational projects. At this session, we’re focusing on “A Kit for Moon” illustrated by Matt Phelan, which is a book that celebrates the anniversary of the moon landing. Then, for this STEAM session, we’ll mix up some salt dough moons and use golf balls to explain how craters get formed. Don’t miss out!
