Now open to ages 6-12. What role do young people play in conserving local wildlife populations and natural habitats? Find out during this week of fun, educational activities! Junior Rangers will have the opportunity to learn about Wild Georgia: A Plan for Tomorrow* while hiking, birdwatching, interacting with ambassador animals, and more.
Perfect for kids who love nature and want to get involved in protecting local wildlife!
Activities include observing the natural world, conducting scientific experiments, and engaging in conservation projects on the park.
*Wild Georgia: A Plan for Tomorrow is the annual interpretive theme for Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites. It supports a 10-year review of the Georgia State Wildlife Action Plan (SWAP), a plan led by DNR’s Wildlife Resources Division (WRD).
Pre-registration has ended. Registration is from April 15th – May 23rd. $300 per child, no refunds or date changes allowed during this period.
