Cowan Stadium: 2170 S 12th St. Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington 98433
On Saturday, June 28, revel in a full day of pre-Fourth of July festivities at Cowan and Memorial Stadiums.
Festivities include the Freedom Wheels Car Show, roving entertainers such as juggling clowns and balloon artists, carnival rides, food trucks, vendor booths, free bounce houses and on-stage entertainment. On the kids’ stage, you’ll find it tricky to hold back your “oohs and aahs” during the magic show and have plenty of fun during the interactive game show. On the main stage, take in live music including performances by America’s First Corps Band and the event’s headliner band. There will aslo be a carnival for the kiddos. Stick around for the grand finale firework show at 10:15pm.
Make sure to bring blankets, and chairs.
Sweet Bee Lemonade will be serving freshly squeezed lemonade and churros. Stop buy for a refreshing drink and sweet treat.
