This summer, let your K-3 child dive into a world of discovery, creativity, and hands-on fun! From 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM each day, campers will rotate through three unique programs that combine nature, math, cooking, storytelling, and technology for a week full of learning and adventure.
The week begins outdoors in Nature Narratives, where young explorers will become storytellers through nonfiction photo essays. Campers will take photos of plants, animals, and natural wonders, then turn their observations into beautifully crafted stories using photography, descriptive writing, and simple design. Itβs a perfect blend of creativity, curiosity, and the great outdoors!
Next, things get delicious in Math in the Kitchen, a no-bake cooking camp where math concepts come to life through tasty recipes! Kids will mix, measure, and whip up cold treats while exploring counting, fractions, sequencing, and more. With no stove required, itβs all about hands-on learning, safe kitchen fun, and sweet success.
Finally, in Game On! Code and Create, kids will dive into block-based coding with Scratch to design their very own interactive games. They'll learn key coding skills like loops, conditionals, and animations while building games full of characters, movement, and sound. By the end of the week, your child will be a proud game designer with a playable project to show off!
