Braw Gigs returns to the Banshee on July 13th with a special one off show for the amazing BRIDE aka. Esme Rebora, with some excellent local support too.
Bride is an experimental musician and sound artist, deconstructing delicate allegories within harsh environments. She has released works on Psychic Liberation, Industrial Coast, Mindseyerecords, Longform Editions and No Holiday amongst others including her own label and platform Alloy Choir, started in early 2023, and presented her work in Europe and NY.
Glow-wirM, a Glasgow-based musician and artist - blown-out & frenetic industrial electronica, inflected with punk and noise influences, carried through on a wave of orchestral brass and strings. Glow-wirM’s live performances never scrimp on the visual, employing sculpture, audio-triggered lighting, lasers and swirling projections on rotation. Armed with a brand-new collaborative album called “Blemish” with Superlucidity released in April, so don’t miss out!
Lauren Sarah Hayes is a Scottish improviser, sound artist, and scholar who is recognised for her embodied approach to computer music. Her music is a mix of experimental pop/live electronics/techno/noise/free improvisation and has been described as ‘voracious’ and ‘exhilarating’. She has toured extensively across Europe and North America, including as part of her tenure with the New BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
