Local law enforcement officers are proud to participate in the 2024 Special Olympics Tip-A-Cop fundraiser. This year’s event will take place at Texas Roadhouse, located at 1601 University Drive East, College Station, on July 21st through 24th, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day.
Officers from the following agencies will be volunteering their time:
• Bryan Police Department
• Texas A&M University Police Department
• Brazos County Sheriff's Office
• Brazos County Constables
• Texas Department of Public Safety
• Texas Parks and Wildlife Department
• College Station Police Department
• Blinn College Police Department
• Grimes County Sheriff's Office
• Navasota Police Department
During the event, officers will assist the Texas Roadhouse staff by refilling drinks, serving tables, and interacting with guests — all in an effort to earn tips, which will go directly to support Special Olympics Texas in our region. Donations in the form of cash, check, or credit card will be accepted.
Law enforcement officers are proud to serve as Guardians of the Flame for the Special Olympics, raising funds and volunteering their time each year. This includes participating in the annual Torch Run leading up to the State Games and helping with security at local events.
We encourage you and your family to come out, enjoy a great meal, and spend time with officers from your community — all while supporting a meaningful cause. It’s a fun, family-friendly event that makes a real difference in the lives of local athletes.
Extended Appreciation Period:
After July 24th, the event will remain open for a short time to allow us to recognize our generous sponsors and partner agencies.
