Yerba Buena Gardens Festival and Women’s Audio Mission bring Local Sirens to the Gardens for an afternoon of dynamic music. WAM’s Local Sirens is an all-ages performance series that features exceptional Bay Area women and gender-expansive musicians and performers. To date, Local Sirens has presented the work of 75+ local women and gender-expansive artists and reached over 7,500 attendees at venues including The Rickshaw Stop, The New Parish and more.
Always at the forefront of emerging talent, this concert features Local Sirens residency artists B. DeVeaux and Mare on a special double bill. B. DeVeaux is a 24-year-old Neo-Soul vocalist and songwriter hailing from Oakland, CA. Mare is a San Francisco-based band led by multi-genre artist Jess Konye. The band’s sound blends elements of experimental pop and electronic music, creating ambient and spacey textures, aiming to encapsulate the beauty of the moon through lush textures.
