Tidepool Excursion

Join us for a guided Tidepool Excursion at beautiful Neptune State Park. Learn about the animals and seaweed that live along the Oregon Coast. Class starts at the park at 7am, and will spend 2.5 hours exploring with our guide. It is a short, gentle path to the beach, but there are some big steps and rocks at the end. (see our registration link for a photo) We will walk approx. 1.5 miles round trip on mostly wet firm sand.
Please wear sturdy shoes that can get wet or boots. Rocks will be slippery, but there is plenty of sand to walk on.
Ages 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Location: Neptune State Park, north parking lot - Pre-registration is required!
Neptune is approx. 40 minutes from Newport. There will be 10 spaces available in a shuttle or you are welcome to drive and meet us at the North Parking lot at 7:30am. We will meet at the Rec Center at 6:35am and our shuttle leaves at 6:45am. We should arrive back at the Rec Center about 11am.

You MUST register through our registration link below, in person at the Recreation Center, or by calling 541 265 7783. Any other registration links or offers will be fraudulent. Beware of scammers trying to sell tickets. We have a generous refund policy so people claiming they have tickets they can no longer use are most likely scammers.
