Gel Printing with Carol Pairaudeau

In this full day workshop local artist and printmaker Carol Pairaudeau will introduce you to the joys of gel plate printing. Gel printing is a very versatile method of image making using a gel pad and acrylic paint. The workshop will begin with an introduction to basic technique, before going on to create a series of prints using a variety of plant materials.

Participants will be shown how to capture the beautiful detail of the natural forms as well as how to create colourful, layered prints that focus on shape and colour.

The workshop is suitable for those new to gel printing or anyone wishing to extend their current knowledge.
