For the longest time, fruit in beer was reserved for light-bodied, “boring” ales to appeal to those who were not the biggest fans of “beer” flavour. Not anymore.
Brewers are increasingly using fruit in new and imaginative ways to bring out the best of both worlds. They are incorporating new types of fruit and experimenting with styles not normally associated with fruit beer to build novel and interesting creations.
Join beer writer and educator Jason Foster for a food and beer pairing evening of exploring the new world of fruit beer.
Over the evening, Five beers pair with Four amazing dishes made by the Underground’s head chef, Lang.

Street parking is available downtown or nearby at the Library Parkade. We are located right above Central Station if you choose to take transit instead.

Accessibility Info: We have accessible washrooms. About ~20-30 stairs down into the venue. Wheelchair lift is broken & elevator has no basement access (we are Underground)
