This summer, The Academy is switching things up and hosting one workshop a month instead of our regular class schedule to accommodate the busy travel season!

Learn the fundamentals of Smoothstepping, an elegant fusion dance style blending Tango and Ballroomin' Blues. This two-part workshop teaches the essential techniques for developing the smooth, controlled movement patterns that define this versatile fusion dance mode.

The first workshop focuses on core mechanics and the basics steps of Smoothstepping. Take this class if youβre new to the style or want a refresher of the core foundational patterns!

The second workshop expands on your pre-existing Smoothstepping knowledge to add more nuance and vocabulary to your dance. Take this workshop if youβve taken a smoothstepping class previously, or joined us for the first workshop!
