Tale as old as time....
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
Beauty and the Beast is a musical, but most roles do not sing alone. If your child does not wish to sing a solo, please indicate on the registration notes section. The script will be used as a teaching tool to introduce kids to theatrical concepts and vocabulary, teamwork and self-reliance. Kids will rehearse a 20-minute version of the popular musical, 2-3 songs plus a few lines of dialogue to connect them. Students will be working with a professional director, choreographer and vocal coach. Students should dress to move and bring their own water bottle and snack for each class. A final performance for parents and invited guests will take place at the end of the final camp day.
This camp is at MAC 380 Rivertown Drive, Suite 200 in Woodbury
