Join us for the 4th annual Scottish Games Training Day!
This is your best chance to learn about the heavy events of the Scottish Highland games and get some practice with real weights, stones, and cabers, as well as coaching from the area's finest.
At this beginner-friendly clinic you will learn everything you need to know to take the field for a real competition.
New this year, we will also be running a judges clinic at the same time, so if you are interested in becoming a certified highland games judge, here is your chance! Learn the ins and outs of judging from Alex Duncan, a veteran judge trainer from MASA, Mid-Atlantic Scottish Athletics. More info to come on this!
Training day is open to all classes of athlete, men, women, all age groups from 14-99, as well as adaptive classes. We want you to come out and learn about our beautiful sport!
More info can be found in the registration form, posted here soon!
This event is a fundraiser for the Shen Track & Field Booster club, so all proceeds benefit the local throwing community.
