Southern Dutchess Concert Band at Patterson Recreation Center

On Saturday, July 6th, the Patterson Recreation Center will be the venue for a family-friendly concert by the Southern Dutchess Concert Band, supported by the Town of Patterson. The concert starts at 6 p.m. and admission is Free.

The 75-piece Southern Dutchess Concert Band will be performing a selection of show tunes, popular standards, marches, light classical and wind ensemble music. Highlights will include a selection of tunes from Disney's "Frozen", music from "The Band of Brothers" in tribute to the 80th Anniversary of the end of World War II, "When You Wish Upon a Star", and a salute to the Armed Forces. The Southern Dutchess Concert Band consists of woodwind, brass and percussion musicians from southern Dutchess County and surrounding areas.

This concert will be held in the Patterson Recreation Center, which is a wonderful venue for a summertime concert. The concert will be held regardless of the weather, so come and enjoy the amenities of air conditioning, convenient parking, and handicapped accessibility.

The Patterson Recreation Center is located at 65 Front Street in Patterson, off Route 311 just down from the Patterson Train Station. (Click on the map.)
