Butterfly Walk and picnic

Cross sits at the foot of the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills in Somerset, in an unspoilt area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). Meet at Cross Memorial hall at 11.30 for a guided walk in the beautiful Mendip Hills to find our local butterflies. Plan is a short amble to observe the butterflies. Bring a picnic and we will find a lovely spot at the quarry to stop for lunch. Aim to return to Cross Hall by 1.30.
Family friendly, ideal school holiday activity 😆
Uneven ground and slopes so not suitable for those with limited mobility or pushchairs.
No dogs please (so we don't frighten the wildlife)
