Michigan Log Cabin Days

Join us as we celebrate the thirty-ninth annual Michigan Log Cabin Day, featuring our Leavine log cabin and barn. The historic log structures and other buildings will be open for viewing, and there will be make-and-take crafts and lawn games for the kids.

Michigan Log Cabin Day is sponsored by the Log Cabin Society of Michigan, which was founded by Virginia Handy with the help of the Bad Axe Historical Society. The Society and its 350 members also conduct the Michigan Log Cabin Survey and work to preserve log cabins in Michigan.
