This middle school camp is focused on collaborative problem solving in math using exciting and engaging STEM contexts. We will focus on STEM investigation and integrate middle school math concepts to sharpen students’ investigative skills. Students will work with STEM professors and amazing middle school teachers to learn and discover how math is used to make decisions and understand our world. This camp is part of a grant where we are studying how middle schoolers work collaboratively to problem solve. We will be asking for consent to video students during the camp and will anonymize data for the research.
Camp Fee of $40 is for a camp t-shirt and materials for the STEM activities.
