This 7-day (August 4-7 & 11-13, 2025; 8:30am-3:30pm) Zoom course provides participants with instruction in the basics of the Orton Gillingham approach—a systematic, multisensory and diagnostic-prescriptive approach to teaching the continuum of language skills, including phonological awareness, decoding, spelling, morphology, and handwriting.
The course includes instruction in identifying the characteristics and needs of the learner with dyslexia, outlining the principles of multisensory structured teaching, unpacking the structure of the English language, and designing and implementing lessons.
