Introduction to Horses and Riding - Summer Horse Camp

All ages can enjoy this fun filled week of learning more about horses including nutrition, grooming, tack, horse health, as well as work on individual riding skills. Daily riding with a qualified instructor. Participants will work on walking and some trotting skills in the arena and on trails. A fun show will be held on Friday of each camp weather permitting so the campers can show off what they have learned during the week. Campers need to bring their lunch each day. Refrigerators are provided. Space is limited. Great for those who are interested in riding but have little or no previous experience. For children 6 and over. Camp hours are 8 a.m. till 3 p.m. daily.
