Farrier Science Occupational Course at Central Lakes College

The Farrier Occupational Certificate Training program is designed to give students hands-on experience in trimming and horseshoeing, as well as familiarizing students with the principles and theories of blacksmithing to build shoes and trimming and balancing horses according to their conformation and use. Students also receive instruction in equine behavior, entrepreneurial business management, and interpersonal communication.
