A Student Playwright Workshop: How to write your own play!
Two Dates and Times Available:
Saturday May 24th 1:00pm-3:00pm
Saturday June 28th 1:00pm-3:00pm
Location: Beale Street Studios 204 E Beale Street
Ages 13-19, all levels welcome

Description: In this class students will learn how to write their own 10 minute play from scratch! Taught by playwright, director, and artist Yivette Scroggins you do not want to miss this opportunity to build your own story with expert help!
As part of our Beale Street Youth Theater Season we invite aspiring young playwrights in our community ages 13-19 to compose and submit their own 10 minute play. A maximum of 6 students plays will be chosen, these 6 students will have the opportunity to cast, direct, and perform their productions for our Student Playwright Showcase in September.
