Moosabec Summerfest 5K Road Race & Kids’ Fun Run

This year’s annual Moosabec Summerfest 5K Road Race and Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run will be held on Saturday, July 5th, 2025. Runners who pre-register by Saturday, June 14th will receive an exclusive event t-shirt! (Day-of registration will not include a t-shirt.)
New this year, the race will be held on scenic Beals Island! Day-of registration will take place from 7:00-7:50 AM at Backfield Park, at the end of Backfield Road in Beals, Maine. Runners who pre-register must check in within that timeframe to receive their t-shirt and race bib. The Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:00 AM sharp, with the 5K Road Race to follow immediately after. Following the conclusion of each race, trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finishers of the Kids’ Fun Run, overall male and female finishers of the 5K Road Race, and top male and female finishers in each age category; winners are asked to stay for the awards ceremony in order to collect their trophies.
