Educator Workshops - Flying Wild

Flying Wild explores bird biology, conservation and natural history while making connections to real world experiences. This workshop uses language arts, social sciences and math experiences matched with hands on activities and investigations to discover new ways to implement project based and community learning in the classroom. During the Flying Wild workshop, lesson plan examples will feature a combination of grade levels creating an adaptable workshop for teachers of all K-12 ages.

*This workshop takes place from 10am-2pm, and includes a guided Rainforest tour and animal presentation. 1-2 weeks prior to the workshop, those signed up will receive a welcome email with the workshop location and day-of information.
