Educator Workshops - Wild for Literacy

Wild for Literacy focuses on literacy development with the aid of our natural world. We will break down the parts of literacy and discover how we can utilize our natural world to develop literary fluency. This workshop is excellent for teachers discovering new ways to integrate literacy and natural sciences. During the Wild for Literacy workshop, lesson plan examples will feature a combination of grade levels creating an adaptable workshop for teachers of all K-12 ages.

*This workshop takes place from 12-4pm, includes a guided Rainforest or Aquarium tour. 1-2 weeks prior to the workshop, those signed up will receive a welcome email with the workshop location and day-of information.
